JBA finalized the request concerning the Japan Housing Finance Agency (JHFA), as in past years, and JBA submitted it to the JHFA’s President and the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism on June 25.
JBA asked the JHFA (1) to revise agency commissions paid to banks by the organization so that they reflect market mechanisms, and (2) to respect the opinions of banks when changing business practices concerning businesses related to supporting the securitization of housing loans.
