Today, the First Subgroup of the Research Group on the Financial System (Group Head: Keimei Kaizuka, Subgroup Leader: Yoshinori Shimizu), published “Post-Financial Crisis Regulatory Reform Proposals - From Global “One-Size-Fits-All” to Locally-Specific Regulations –.“ Subgroup member list is attached.
These proposals are intended to contribute to international discussions of strengthening international financial regulations in response, particularly capital adequacy rules, to the global financial crisis.
The key points of the Proposals will be reported in the Symposium: "On Financial Regulations and Supervision following the Global Financial Crisis" scheduled for December 4th, Friday, 2009.
