We, Japanese Bankers Association (JBA, Chairman: Nobuyuki Hirano (President & Group CEO, Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group)) is pleased to announce that Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and Non-binding Cooperation Agreement on FinTech were signed between The Association of Banks in Singapore (Chairman: Piyush Gupta (Chief Executive Officer and Director, DBS Group)) and JBA on October 19, 2017.
The main objectives of signing these documents include further enhancement of the overall collaboration between the two associations as well as information sharing and mutual cooperation about FinTech among private bankers associations. We hope that the newly established framework will enable both associations to contribute promoting innovation in financial services in respective markets.
