New Publications for Junior and Senior-High School Students (written in Japanese)

In recognition of the growing importance of consumer education as financial products and services diversify and personal bankruptcies increase rapidly, JBA published two pamphlets; "What's A Bank? Understanding Banks More" for junior high school students and "My Dreams and Banks - Banking in Plain Language" for high school students. These pamphlets were distributed to junior-high and high schools nationwide.In the pamphlet for junior high school students, cartoons are used in the introductory parts of each theme. Bank roles and functions and points to remember in utilizing financial institutions are explained in simple and plain expressions.The pamphlet for high school students explains roles and functions of banks and points to remember in making use of financial products and services. These are illustrated using the dreams of students such as the jobs they want to have.JBA is promoting the use of these publications in classes by also publishing teacher supplement "Guidebook for Teachers," which contains relevant data and case studies.
