JBA's Opinion on "e-Japan Priority Policy Program 2004 (draft)"

JBA drafted an opinion paper on the "e-Japan Priority Policy Program 2004 (draft)" announced by the government's IT Strategic Headquarters on May 21. This report was submitted to the IT Division of the Cabinet Secretariat on May 31.In the paper, JBA proposed that the buildup plan to e-Government include shifting payrolls for national public service personnel to a direct-credit-to-deposit system, and that internal management systems of governmental offices be optimized.The paper also discusses SME finance posits the transfer of claims by electronic means, model businesses for vitalizing e-claim markets and computerizing operational procedures for utilizing credit guarantee facilities as matters needing to be addressed.
