The Board of Directors Meeting held on December 21 decided to implement the "Self-regulations concerning Protection and Utilization of Personal Information" with the aim of having Members protect and utilize personal information properly. The principal content of the regulations are as follows.
(1) Specifying the purpose for utilizing the information
(2) Disclosing the purpose and obtaining consent
(3) Abstaining from direct marketing
(4) Handling sensitive information
(5) Implementing security management measures
(6) Preparing organizational measures for handling claims
(7) Handling leaks
(8) Announcing the protection of personal information
