JBA submitted its opinion concerning the "Inspection Evaluation System" to the Financial Services Agency (Inspection Bureau) on June 15.In its general remarks, the paper requests that the workload placed on financial institutions, including preparation of materials within inspections, not exceed past inspections. It also called for inspectors and inspected financial institutions to possess a common perspective on evaluation standards and judgment of evaluation results. This perspective is to be reached through discussions. The paper also requests that key points of evaluations be specifically indicated to the extent possible.
