JBA Comments on "Discussion Points for Reviewing the Banking Agency System"

JBA responded to a call for public comments on the "Discussion Points for Reviewing the Banking Agency System," which was issued by the second subcommittee of the Financial System Council, with comments on February 15.In the comments, JBA indicated its appreciation for the subcommittee reviewing the banking agency system in the manner outlined in the paper. It also asked for sufficient attention to be given to the practicality in deliberating requirements and new rules, along with a clear distinction to be made between the outsourcing of operations and "Intermediary Business of a Banking Agency (tentative name)."
