On April 1, JBA placed a five-column half-page advertisement on personal information protection in forty newspapers nationwide including five national and three regional newspapers.The aim of the advertisement was to announce that each member bank would strictly handle personal information on customers in compliance with the Personal Information Protection Law to protect their rights and interests.The advertisement also asked customers to check each bank's policy on personal information (private policy, etc.) via the bank's homepage and publicized that the newly established All Banks Personal Information Protection Council would handle complaints and consultations.
