Public Relations Activities for Preventing Excessive Borrowing

JBA carries out public relations activities for preventing excessive borrowing around November every year.

JBA sent a poster illustrated with "Card Lion" - the same character as last year - to member banks and consumer centers to be posted in their facilities from November 2006 to March 2007.

JBA is also running a magazine advertisement with the same design as the posters, posting an internet advertisement with the Card Lion appearing in the banner and animation space, and running advertisements on tray-mats used at fast food restaurants. Animated advertisements will also be shown in movie theaters in December.

These activities represent a joint publicity campaign conducted by JBA, the Japan Credit Card Association, Federation of Finance Companies Associations of Japan, Japan Consumer Credit Industry Association and the Japan Federation of Consumer Credit Companies.
